Take a stroll along the 9.5 miles of white-sand beaches, look for colorful seashells, and swim in the shallow waters. To really explore the area, hop in a kayak or canoe or hike through one of three nature trails. Afterward, relax in one of the seven cabins and admire views that overlook St. Joseph Bay.

TopSail Hill Preserve State Park, Santa Rosa Beach
Home to 3.2 miles of secluded, white sand beaches with dunes that reach up to 25 feet tall, TopSail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach is an idyllic location to enjoy some fun in the sun. Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Hobe Sound
You can take a guided horseback ride at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound or spend your days swimming, mountain biking, or picnicking. Three nature trails wind through the park, including the Hobe Mountain Trail, which features a scenic boardwalk and observation tower that overlooks the park. There are 11 cabins located near the Loxahatchee River, all furnished with a living, dining, and kitchen area, and include fire rings for outdoor cooking.

Cayo Costa State Park, Cayo Costa
Featuring nine rustic one-bedroom cabins, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Cayo Costa State Park in Boca Grande. Accessible by only a private boat or ferry, the beautiful beaches and acres of pine forests that make up this barrier island park is a Gulf Coast hidden gem. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or hiking scenic nature trails, while saltwater anglers can fish for flounder, trout, and redfish. Spend an evening stargazing and cooking your dinner on the outdoor grill.

Located in Orange City, Blue Springs State Park is famously known as Florida’s most popular manatee refuge, home to a large collection of West Indian manatees in the winter season. It’s a beautiful destination throughout the year, as this 2,500-acre park is also home to a crystal clear spring that is enjoyed by swimmers, divers, and snorkelers. Fanning Springs State Park, Fanning Springs
Located along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail in Fanning Springs, the cabins at Fanning Springs State Park provide access to scenic hiking trails and a second-magnitude spring. These spacious abodes include a kitchenette, screened porch, and electric fireplace, offering the perfect place to recharge before another day of spotting diverse wildlife such as white-tailed deer, red-shouldered hawks, and barred owls, or even the beloved West Indian manatees in season.

Silver Springs State Park, Silver Springs
The cabins in Silver Springs State Park resemble Florida Cracker Houses, nestled in natural landscapes that consist of lush foliage and towering trees.
