This brand is the brainchild of a former hair stylist who wanted cuter, bolder, comfier baby clothes — and let me tell you, she succeeded. Posh Peanut is one of the best baby clothes brands on the market thanks to its freaking adorable clothing options that are also the softest on planet Earth. Oh yeah, they wash like a total dream, too. There's even a new line of Mommy and Me and Daddy and Me lines that have a chokehold on us.

Posh Peanut has an almost cult-like following, with parents waiting for the next pattern to drop like it's a Taylor Swift song. There's a good reason for that — they're saturated, they don't fade, they don't tear easily, and so many of them have matching accessories like blankets and bibs. Young Days is one of my favorite brands because not only is each individual item priced really well, but they offer whole, curated bundles of clothing for around $100. It's certainly not as cheap as a store brand offering, but the quality and comfort are so much better. I have never found the clothing to have that "eco-friendly" feel to it that used to be pretty common in this space. Instead, there are bright colors and fun patterns like traditionally manufactured baby clothes brands. There are tons of styles available. And you will never look at a Young Days dressed baby and think, "Oh, their parents are into the sad beige baby trend."

Caden Lane was created out of a love of color and design. They feature fun, colorful patterns, tons of different styles, and easy-to-wash fabrics. I am a particular fan of their zip-up sleepwear, as it is easy to take on and off.

Hanna Andersson is hands-down one of my favorite children's brands of all time. It's a highly-curated brand with styles that are classic and timeless. I dress my babies in it, buy it for gifts, and recommend it to everyone. It's high-quality, heritage-quality, mid-range kids' clothing, and I couldn't love it more.

This brand features solidly Scandi-styled baby clothing that screams "Nordic chic." Hanna Andersson has a little bit of everything — from dreamy printed pajamas to holiday wear — and that's a big reason why I value them so much. Whether I am seeking something special or something every day, there's something in that store that will suit my hunt. Plus, they have sales all of the time, where you can score some major savings. You get incredible quality clothing, and you get it at a discount most of the time — what could be better?

Adidas isn't strictly a baby brand, obviously, but I had to include them for one reason and one reason only — babies in sweatsuits. Picture it: your baby in a sweatsuit like the guys in The Sopranos. It's just too cute for words. Plus, as someone who has purchased these for her kids, I can tell you they're almost unkillable.

There's also another reason Adidas is one of my favorite baby brands (that isn't a baby brand), and that is the fact that everything is designed to be played in and played in hard. So, that $30 sweatsuit you got for your toddler? Your next toddler can wear that, and your next toddler and your next one.

Janie and Jack is occasion clothing, for sure. They are among the best baby clothes brands for tailored, preppy clothing that's made to look fancy and expensive without going over the top in the cost. It's not cheap, don't get me wrong, but it isn't wild, either. I have so many holiday photos with my kids wearing their clothing, and I have continued that tradition by gifting their clothes to my siblings' kids and kids of friends.

All of Janie and Jack's clothing is heritage quality, so you can expect to get plenty of wear out of them — and themed, seasonal clothing is where Janie and Jack really shine. Summer holidays you can expect pinafores and linen, Christmas is done to the nines with velvets in deep colors and satins to coordinate. Easter and Thanksgiving are every bit as sweet as you think. I don't know a single parent who doesn't rely on Old Navy for a significant portion of their baby's wardrobe — they're perennial favorites, super affordable, and oh-so-sweet. This season, I'm loving the rompers and the proper-looking baby boy clothing. It's very much "shrunken adult" clothing, but in a way that isn't taking itself too seriously.
