Interview With Author
ADVERTIsem*nT
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, weddings often come with a whole slew of intrigue, drama, and joy, so it’s no surprise that many a story features one at some point. And, as it so often turns out, real life manages to be stranger than fiction.
A bridesmaid and her family discovered that the bride had pocketed the money everyone had sent her for her rather expensive bachelorette party. So she decided to dig a little deeper and found a whole web of lies and double-dealing. Later, she detailed the entire story of investigating, gathering evidence, and confronting the bride. We got in touch with dorkvader23 to learn more.

If that were me in that situation I would conspire with all of the others to go on the trip but do what we want. Technically if we paid for the AirBnB she can't kick anyone out because then she will open the window to be able to be legally sued for a refund and would have to pay.

Exactly! And, maybe in advance, find out what expenses you can cause that are her obligation to pay afterwards. Any taxi rides, uber, food, entrance fees - whatever you can throw on her pile of bills, do and throw. Maybe stick your request to be refunded on that stupid melting bird, make sure it looks hideous. Spite? Yes. But, tbh, I can't even. This behaviour needs punishment. Punish her, but make it enjoyable for yourselves.

Mine was 1500 and it was fantastic. It's 1 freakin day, if people save the money for a honeymoon I would understand, but weddings are so freakin overrated.
