Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration becauseit supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By the conclusion of the academic year, all my students will have acquired the ability to read and write simple sentences. The basic classroom resources requested will be integral in enriching their learning experience through various activities like writing practice, engaging crafts, and interactive learning centers.
The presence of Play-Doh, composition notebooks, and laminating pouches in my classroom holds significant value.
These items serve as a tools for developing fine motor skills, enabling students to construct letters, numbers, and shapes. The primary objective of this project is to provide essential school supplies for my students. Working in an area predominantly comprised of low-income families, many students face challenges in acquiring necessary educational materials. Despite not having met my students yet, I eagerly anticipate the upcoming school year to have fun and learn with them. One remarkable aspect of my students is their unwavering determination, despite their tender age, to diligently pursue their educational milestones. These achievements encompass mastering letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and most notably, acquiring the skill to write their names.
